Introduction to SPRINGBOARD®

Modern women lack reliable tools to understand their menstrual cycle, contributing to hormonal imbalances and fertility challenges. Problem

Women today are disconnected from their menstrual cycle and health due to contraception, modern life stress and lack of information. As a result, we are seeing a rise in hormonal diseases and imbalances (~60% of women) and fertility issues (~15% of women)

            Solution

The company brings a new product combination and experience to the market with their combined smart ring and app, creating the new data-driven, convenient and aesthetic way for modern women to track their cycle; ~70% of women are interested in using a combined solution of app and smart ring to track their cycle.

            The market

The solution is positioned in the intersection between the large established 80b EUR wearable market and the new and fast-growing 1.5b EUR menstrual cycle app market growing at a +10% rate every year. The wearable landscape is changing making women now 75% more likely to use digital health tools than men3 – and our combined market is at a pivotal point in time as the hockey stick curve takes off.

            Competitors

Competition is starting to pick up with the market validated by unicorns such as Flo (self-reporting app) and Oura ring (general health smart ring) – our unique edge is our combined solution (smart ring and app), Basal Body Temperature (BBT) specialization and women-centric design.

            Team

We have a stellar team in place with diverse and complementing skills from business and strategy, hardware and technology, medical and science, and data science and algorithm development - including one of Scandinavia's most renowned professors within gynecology and women’s health.

            Fundraising

We are now raising 600k EUR in a pre-seed round to provide us 2-year runway – this will enable us to develop our unique smart ring from scratch and bring our combined product to market within year 1 and do a commercial push year 2. We are excited to connect with investors that believes in the business case and mission.

            Status

We are in the middle of raising our pre-seed round and negotiating with investors. At the same time, we are progressing on our product development of the smart ring and deciding on the final team constellation.
