Company Profile

We are a registered Social economic business based in Copenhagen. We started our journey late 2016 and currently we have 10 employee working with us. We address two key social causes -

1- Ensuring sustainable integration for migrants in Denmark

2- Engaging local businesses on more social responsibility without extra cost

There is a big problem in Denmark when it comes to the employment of migrants in unskilled positions. Several EU studies show that half of the new unskilled jobs filled by migrants have problematic working conditions. This includes low wages, poor job quality, physical assault, employment uncertainty, and a lack of social integration, all of which represent a great challenge for the workers. 68% of these jobs are managed by service companies. Small and medium-sized businesses have financial restrictions when it comes to the recruitment of service personnel through service companies. Established facility or service agencies are too costly, leaving small and medium businesses with few alternatives. In order to save on operation costs, they frequently resort to using their personal networks or small- scale companies that employ questionable techniques in the recruitment of labor in order to maximize their personal profits. Because of the missing transparency within the service companies many companies are also unwittingly supporting malpractices in the labor marked. Therefore, we have set out our key values that we work with to counter these problems.

What We Do

We offer an affordable service for businesses with the added bonus of social responsibility while simultaneously ensuring good working environments and fair living wages for migrants into Denmark. The services we offer include but are not limited to e.g. : event, warehouse, cleaning, catering, Kitchen and office assistance. Currently we have 10 employees.

Ambitions

We have cemented our social values and are now looking to promote social responsibility to a wider market. We have conducted a market segmentation a TAM etc. and we are considering various marketing options. Our short-term goals are to have 20 full-time positions filled by the end of this year, and long-term is to establish branches outside of CPH.

Skills/Experience Required

We are looking for someone who understands social businesses and that value social innovation. The right candidate is passionate about working with young companies. Because the company is young we expect a commitment level that goes a bit beyond that of a regular Advisory Board member in terms of engagement. The following skills are required:

- Understanding of growth and expansion with the knowledge to build implementation strategies

- Understanding of brand building through offline/online campaigns

- Understanding of organizational development

- Understanding of sales strategies and the ability to advise on optimizing sales results

Perspective

The company is looking for 1-2 profiles to be part of the Advisory Board. It is not possible to compensate the Advisory Board financially.

The meeting frequency will be 1-2 monthly meetings the coming three months, thereafter 1 monthly meeting.
