Why invest in opening a museum in Copenhagen

  • • Tourist trade in Copenhagen continues to rise
  • • The same attraction is a major player in a comparable market (Amsterdam)
  • • A similar type of museum has previously been in Copenhagen, creating awareness of the concept
  • • Lack of direct competitors (year-round, indoor, interactive quality city center attraction focusing on selfie-ready quality edutainment)
  • • Concept attractive to local market and tourists, adaptable for year

Location

  • • High pedestrian footfall and a prominent entrance with extensive façade
  • • About 2.000 square meter
  • • Main exhibition space can be at any level and across multiple floors
  • • Access to retail space without admission an advantage

Finance

Estimated investment (depending on the specific site), DKK 38 million. Detailed calculations to be shared with the panel.

Team

Founder with 25 years’ experience in attractions, including General Manager at Ripleys Entertainment, Head of Design and Development at Tivoli + other relevant positions.
