Solution
An infrastructure supporting AIoT devices that allow people to access their own data and validate therapeutic treatments. AI modelling, implementation.
USP
Transparent AI compliant with EU requirements on transparency in high-risk areas incl. healthcare.
Higher data security due to on edge AI calculations.
Energy efficiency.
Simple process / we follow the customer from data to full embedded model.
Company idea
Unique approach - the product is an AI infrastructure that empowers the end user with their sensor data for use in AIoT health devices. The product is a platform that makes it more simple for the customer, medtech and health companies, to build and deploy AI models on edge devices that adhere to EU standards for transparency.
The company aims to empower the end user with their data, and to address health disparities. The approach aligns with the Danish Digital strategy on inclusive, decentralized and closer to home approaches.
Business model
Licensing AI models, integration subscriptions.
Customers
Engineers, CTOs, others in health and med tech companies in need of real time AI calculations for things such as validating therapeutic treatments both focusing on the health and wellness industry.
Market
The global wearables market is experiencing a significant surge, with 200 million units sold in 2020 and an anticipated doubling of this figure by 2025. This growth is reflective of a broader trend towards the adoption of technology in healthcare, particularly in the domain of cognitive health. Denmark, for instance, mirrors this global trend with an increasing demand for wearables catering to specific cognitive diseases.
One of the key drivers for this growth is the escalating global health professional shortages, coupled with the fact that 11% of the global population is grappling with mental health issues. This has led to a burgeoning market for mental health apps. Additionally, there has been a 10% increase in out-of-pocket health expenses, indicating a growing consumer willingness to invest in health-related products and services.
In this context, AI chip solutions for wearables present a compelling value proposition. AI chips can significantly enhance the capabilities of wearables by enabling real-time data processing, advanced analytics, and personalized feedback, which are critical for monitoring and managing cognitive health. For patients and healthcare providers, this means more accurate and timely insights into patient health, leading to better decision-making and, ultimately, improved health outcomes.
Growth potential
The technology we expect to use in this early stage as it is, is neuromorphic AI, which is expected to be a 20 billion market in 2030. Currently, it contributes less than one percent of the entire market, and it will be market ready in 6 years (Gartner).
EUs AI Act gives rise to a need for transparent AI solutions, which we will provide in the AI suite as well as in the AI chip.
