Introduction to SPRINGBOARD®
Current satellite security relies on classical cryptography vulnerable to quantum computers within 10-15 years. Satellites face quantum attack risks that could compromise navigation, earth observation, and secure communications. Encryption methods like RSA and ECC are vulnerable to quantum computers, as the superior processing power of these devices allows for decryption through exhaustive trial-and-error.
We offer a platform to run post quantum cryptography solutions in a way that is energy efficient and flexible. Keeping your communication safe, in a way that requires less power and is easy to update.
We expect our patent pending technology to run PQC algorithms 50 times more energy efficient than standard solutions such as MCUs and are offering a more flexible solution than eFPGAs.
We’re looking for a fast way to market, with our energy efficient and flexible security solution, and are exploring areas as satellites, drones, IoTs including health IoTs.

Solution
A chip (platform) that can run PQC cryptography very energy efficiently and with smaller area than solutions such as eFGPAs and MCUs, meanwhile it is programmable and therefore more flexible than a standard ASIC.
USP
- Post quantum cryptography - secure your communication against future quantum attacks, recommended by EU
- Energy efficient platform
- Programmable (flexible) platform
- Learning from the human brain / brain inspired technology
Company idea
The startup had a starting point in the EU project ‘the human brain project’ where some of the founders met and held an innovation conference about how to use neuroscience in AI and vice versa. The human brain is extremely energy efficient and sophisticated, and the startup believes there is a lot to learn by emulating the brain.
Business model
The product operates on a B2B model, primarily selling the ADA chip as a full stack security solution directly to satellite and drone companies and secondary licensing its programmable neuromorphic processor IP to foundries, chip companies as well as Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and system integrators focused on ultra-low-power, security-critical embedded systems. Additional revenue will be generated through software toolchain subscriptions, encompassing a compiler, simulator, and runtime environment.
Customers
Satellite and drone manufacturers; manufacturers of IoT devices and health IoT devices.
Market
Looking at the neuromorphic chip market, it is forecasted for significant growth, from 309 million EUR in 2025 to ~11 billion EUR by 2030 (CAGR of 104%), and the PQC market is also expanding rapidly, estimated to grow from 215 million EUR in 2024 to 1.65 billion EUR by 2029 (CAGR 44.2%) (Morder Intelligence).
Growth potential
There is huge growth potential in this startup. Not only is it possible to diversify the business model, getting early to market by selling FPGA designs of PQCs, it is possible to sell and license the hardware IP for PQC across industries. Our patent pending technology can be used to run other algorithms meaning that we will be able to use the same platform to other usecases, for instance filtering of data in health devices. This opens up a lot of opportunities within edge computation both within and outside of the scope of cryptography.

Status
ADA is a brain-inspired patent pending chip. ADA has been validated through traction and iterative development. The successful completion of a 1.3 M DKK Innobooster project in Q2 2025, funded by Danish Innovation fund, has allowed us to develop a prototype of the chip. Specifically, a patentable neuromorphic architecture, a compiler stack and software integration. Our prototype chip is ready for deploying PQC algorithms and then for market validation.
